Sketching –Year 2
This club only runs up to May half term.
The children will have the opportunity to draw their own animals etc, using examples to support their creations. We discuss the context and background of the pictures. Children will be able to take home the pictures that they have produced.
Parents are requested not to collect children earlier than 3.45pm as it may not be possible to complete art work at a later date.

Hardball Cricket Club for Boys and Girls
Please ensure that you have the following equipment;
Cricket pads, cricket gloves, cricket bat, cricket helmet, box protection, trainers/spikes and PE Kit.
Children can be collected from Woodford Wells at 5 pm or returned to WGPS for 5.20 pm.
The student will have access to a cricket coach and a bowling machine.

Reading Club Year 3-5
Please note this club starts on Monday 4th May
This is a club for years 3-5 to come along and read a book together as a group. The teachers will split the club into two groups and read the same book, discussing and predicting as we go through. The aim is to help children enjoy reading and to get them thinking more about what they are reading. We will do one or two activities based on the books we read. Children should be reading every single day to help develop their language and writing skills and this clubs hopes to help your child to do that.
