We have a growing chess club run by our chess coach, Mr Ben Harte, on Thursday mornings. The club is open for all children in years 3-6. Some Year 2s may enquire to join, also depending on space. The charge for this club is £9 per session. Mr Harte’s sessions will run for 9 sessions, £81 per pupil per term.
Having entered the 2nd Eagleide Schools Chess Championships in March 2026 and arranged a local school match in June 2026, the plan is now for the school to enter more local and national competitions and arrange friendly matches.
Attending a chess club is the best way for your child to improve, learn, have fun playing chess and put themselves forward for school team selection.

Come and be part of our exciting Cross Country Club for Years 3 to 6. Build your fitness, strength, and endurance while having fun outdoors with your friends. Whether you're fast or just want to give it a go, everyone is welcome!
