• CHESS Club  -Years 3 - 6 Thursday mornings from 7.40 am-8.30 am.
  Please note reception does not open until 8 am, therefore please wait with your child until the teacher arrives.
    
  Morning Chess club is run by Mr Lorin D'Costa. Mr D'Costa is an International Chess Master and the 2016 British Chess Rapidplay champion. As a full-time professional chess coach, his underlying aim is to help children of all chess strengths enjoy and play the game of chess. This is open to all levels, including beginners. Chess coaching should be made fun for children, so coaching is based on tactics training. The charge for this club is £7 per session (45 minutes).Payment for all sessions to be paid in advance directly to the chess club coach. There are 20 places available. If all 20 places are filled, you will be put on the waiting list.

  Parents are required to collect children from the ball court at the allocated time.

  You do not need to inform the school office.
  Children not collected on time will be taken to tea time club.
